president bush vetoed a bill allowing and the funding of stem cells research and would have become a law.he couldn't accept a bill that would underwrite research using new lines of embryonic stem cells -- even though that research could find cures for diabetes, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and other illnesses.


he wouldnt pass this bill becuase ,he thinks murder is wrong

The problem is not 'stem cells' per se but from where you get them. Stem cells are simply undifferentiated cells that can be 'given' specific roles. The contentious issue is EMBRYONIC stem cells. Religionist equate embryo with life human being... which is product of their superstitious mind, not scientific fact.
