exactly. personally, i don't want to have children. i would only have children if i met someone i fell in love with, and he happened to be a man, and he had children. it is too much responsibility. and i have enough on my plate as a somali, as a muslim, as a queer, as whatever
and, i think, most queer men feel that way. i think that women are a bit different. the 'feminine' woman in a lesbian relationship more often than not has that "time clock"-- where she yearns for parenting.
coming from a culture where men have children for the evil purpose of making their clan larger, i have a deep rooted belief that most straight men, and i dare say most, wouldn't want children if asked for the right reasons
