holly ramadan is near.

Postby *zabah » Mon Sep 18, 2006 12:20 pm

First of all, I would like to Welcome the Holly month of Rammadan to the homes of every believing human being, a human being, either male of female who has a hope and longings of peace - inner and outer, mother and father who wants to build a safe future for their kids, grandfathers and grandmothers who want to bless all the people and ask God to bring compassion into the hearts of Ruling ones, the child playing with an animal - Laughing trying to build a language to communicate, the child who sees another being as a brother as a whole...an animal of whatever kind that also has wishes and hopes from this world, for his home to be clean and safe....That is the chance....

This month could be used perfectly well to enhance the participation of youth in communities as there will be more slow motions in communities, there will be will to sit home and sit around family with no rush, people start thinking a little bit. why not youth to take advantage of this Month and try to be active in participating in the lives of their family and community when there will be time, posibility and space...

When people have spare space in mind to think and reflect...Through Media, newspapers there will be a lot of talks on ethics, trust, Compasiona nd God - why not to emphasize the participation of all humans as equal - as valuable sources in creating common future for al??

I Wish Everbody peace and Joy in the holly month of ramaddan...

What fast? Laughing

I always find you muzzies hilarious when you make big hullabaloo over ramadan. As if you're actually fasting. All you lot do is change the hours you eat from day to night. That's NOT fasting.

Not eating for a whole month, day or night,, now THAT is fasting.

i agree with you, but some do that only to remember their loved ones, ore when they had gained victory, religions like christens and jews do that, although they do it only 1-2 weeks

in your world do people usually eat the whole night? eating breakfast, lunch and all the snacks in between is when the sun is out so there really isnt any exchanging to do.
