following imaams r like believing in jerry falwell, 2 much politics and culture stuffed in da minds of illiterates. i stopped praying since dey said bad things about da mosque i used to pray, nation of islam. am allergic 2 arabs. i fast, but dont pray anymore.

No and yes, you can't follow blindly, you need faith and in the Quran and Sunnah before anything; if you can't understand them then get some1 to explain it; don't agree with them get a second opinion.
Imams which is are shiekhs sometimes should always base their knowledge on the Quran and Sunnah; they shouldn't misguide so have a little trust in them, everyone needs a teach.

If your praying jumma then the Imam is the leader of the prayer so you follow, if you wish to pray alone then you can.

You should always have trust in your imam, but the best thing to do is research and learn the deen for your self, and then help others.

getting knowledge is always better than just settling for an answer or complaining about one.
