In this country very few MPs or politicians in general have served in the British military, most of our MPs are either businessmen or ex-city (London stock exchange) ppl for Conservatives or lawyers and career politicians among the Labour party ranks.
He sounds impressive, wish him all the best.

Right, but then you guys also opperate under a class system and although it's not as prevelent as it used to be, it's still very much there.
He is impressive indeed, best wishes to him.

The funny thing is people like Blair and Brown have the same background (educational wise) with the leading figures in the Conservative party.
There is no question this is a class bases society and sadly I cant see it changing soon.
Any class system in the United States? Ivy league and all that Hannah?
