Saddam and Brother to Die by Hanging

Surprised

I canÂ’t believe they are going to hang their former leader. No matter how evil the man was, he was not half as bad as the current situation.

He didnÂ’t even get a fair trial. They should have just sentenced him to exile or life in prison or just let him commit suicide.

I donÂ’t think itÂ’s a good idea to hang your former leader no matter how evil. Rolling Eyes

This is a fascinating unrevelling wallahi. Laughing It will be interesting to see how this situation develops-- i wonder if they would televise his execution on televion? This would definitely be must see TV & a lesson to the dictators of the world. And i hope the iraqis dont react with massive violent movement ,that would not be good. I dont want Saddam to become a martyr Laughing Laughing

He shouldn't be hanged! He's old and frail. They should have some mercy and spare his life. Sad

Saddam was a sinful believer, they way I see.
Allah could still forgive him and open a way out for him.
But if he answers for his crimes in Dunya and is hanged, it is still better for him.

One thing is future, those who judged him have comitted far worse crimes after his fall.

Obviously we deplore the verdict of the death penalty against Saddam and one of his co-accused.

We don't consider it was a fair process. The court was not impartial. There were not adequate steps taken to protect the security of defence lawyers and witnesses...

Every individual has a right to a fair trial, even people accused of the crimes of the magnitude that Saddam Hussein faced, and this has not been a fair trial.

Saddam Hussein committed genocide against his own people. Hanging is too good for him. Sure there are irregularities in the way the trial was conducted. But they tried to maintain due process in the face of overwhelming obstacles. A more lenient verdict would have been a tragic miscarriage of justice.

This is a deliberate provocation.

Saddam demanded to be Shot not hanged.
they are doing this to piss him and his supporters off.

It was unfair trial that was control by the zionist invaders entity who are currently runing the country and their associate. They could just put him in exile or life in prison.

Good.

Now everything in Iraq will turn rosy and the situation will get much better.

It wasn't a fair trial although i'm indifferent to saddam i still think that the americans are the ones behind this. Iraq is going downhill, he was the only guy who stood up for afghanistan while the others stood idle.

It would be funny if he escaped and lived with osama... Happily ever after! Very Happy
