Cannibalism in Somalia???

I was just wondering did cannibalism exist among Somali and if it did does it still exist?

Well that depends.......
Although largely unconfirmed, it has been narrated through somewhat reliable sources that Caaraweelo & DhagDeer used to use some of their 'male trophies' for their delicacies. Rumor also has it that that some byproducts of those steamed 'trophies' were used for in the concoction of their poisons and potions.

There was well known Majeerteen man who use to eat and drink the blood of the People in Galkaio ,........I can't remember his Name my be was Ashleebiijo ,,,.

I heard the Rahanweyn ate each other during the 1990s when they were starving and dying like flies in Bay and Bakool.

Dhegdheer and Caraweelo were no cannibalists, typical female bashers! Caraweelo was a revolutionary, and Dhegdheer was just misunderstood. This makes me think of a remark that was made on TV a while back about the witch in Hansel and Gretel; these kids came to her wonderful dreamhouse she made from gingerbread and sugar.....made deeeeep in the forest (away from most kids), and ate it! No wonder she kills them. In Africa and the West, when will women be given fair reviews in these stories?
