Iman Hassan Jirow, Galmudug State Spokesman
The spokesman was referring the recent speech made by President Adde Mosen Hersi of the semi autonomous region of Puntland who said that there was clan likely to invade Puntland state while another clan with in the same group also to be expected to stand by Puntaland and Galmudug states against that invasion.
Mr. Jirow the spokesman of Galmugug state, pointed out that Adde MuseÂ’s comments might create animosity between the two-neighboung autonomous states in northwest Somalia.
He, (Mr. Jirow) called on the Puntland army to withdraw from the recently announced Galmudug state in south of Galkacyo, Somalia.
Asked if his comments might be construed that there is underground relationship between the Islamic courts and Galmudug state Mr. Jirow rebuffed any possibility link with the Islamic courts union but the comments made by Adde Muse annoyed me he said, in an interview with Shabelle Radio.
There is no word yet from the authorities of the semi-autonomous region Puntland about the criticism from the Galmudug administration.
These developments came while there are tensions holding in the middle regions between the Islamic courts and Puntland administration.
