OH MY GOOOOOOOOD, U AREN'T GOING TO BELIEVE THIS..a plea

Actually nothing big happened but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE READ MY PLEA FOR CALM AND RATIONAL THOUGHT IN OUR UMMAH..
i just want to vent about something i see very often among muslims, something that makes look like idiots at time, some thing that just irks me-the need to see miracles in everything..I mean, instead of learning the Deen and applying its principles and discussing fiqh and tawhiid, people would rather talk about who from another religion (specially if they are western or a celebrity) become Muslim or how a fish found in Tanzania had the words Allah on it or how some Omani girl turned into a racoon after kicking the Qur'an.
This one was helluva funny though..Miracles do happen ocassionally although less frequently in our age but why should that be your only motivation to be a better muslim? Why wait for a miracle? Why can't you be just as enthusiastic about your faith, which we all know is absolulely perfect in every possible way?
Just cool down with the miracles and looney talk....Just read the Qur'an, study the Prophet's life, do your fard obligations, strive to be a compassionate and enlightened person....
and next time you try to tell me about a 3 year old Yemeni toddler who gives Jum'ah speeches, better hope you have a good dental plane because i will knock your front teeth out..
