 shimow, what the hell is that shimow?? in the rest of the world any classical language is the language of poetry and art, even the Arabs would tell you " the language of the Quraan is the classical Arabic of the Badouin poets"

The Walaweyn speake creol Somali , half Baantu/Burtagiis with some Eelaay and Amxaara words like " Cajneero" or "dooro" for chicken which is a pure Amxaara.

The standard classical somali is from the land where 99% of somali poets originated from and almost 99% of all play writers and composeres. The Walaweyn ought to be ashamed of themselves when they claim they speake Somali never mind proper, its like an Indian teaching a Brit guy how to speake proper english
Demi,

I was thinking the same... Laughing Laughing

But the truth is the standard somali in neither from the north which is obviously qaldaan, nor from the south..Its from the middle of the country, no matter what anyone and everyone falsely claims.

YOu can even see that from the Heesaha, gabayada etc etc.

With that said....afkeena xamar waxoow 10 mar dhaamaa kan qaldaamiinta oo cabihii xataa babay u baxsaday..bal ma iyga beerta??? Laughing
