i think its the best thing that happened to somalia

its normal, each movement got their own flag, just look to hezbollah,hamas etc. but i dont hope that they sell our country to the arabs. we are not arabs we are somalis

The black backgrounds depicts the dark days we have experienced in the hands of the marauding warlords, the white Shahadah indicates Islamic dawn that has freed and discarded the doom and gloom, the swords reflect the means with which the country was liberated

if they change our flag than i dont support them anymore. how can they disrespect our fore fathers and those fallen heroes who marched and fought and died under the blue flag
