Somali parliament speaker warns he will fight foreign forces

Postby Lacageylacag » Fri Dec 08, 2006 5:33 am

The speaker of somali parliament warned that he will use force to expell IGAD/UN forces if they set foot in Baidoa.

He said the UN resolution was already broken by the presence of thousands of Ethiopian forces in Somalia and no one is condemning them.

"Only ICU side must comply with the resolution while the Ethiopians and their friends break it as they wish"
It also imposes arms sanctions on one side(ICU) while arming and training the other side.
Solution is being sought through injustice.

What kind of world is this?

I am starting to get suspicious of what's the objective of Mr.speaker is he working his own intrest and hence saving his skin and why does he keep switching sides, surely if he has the intrest of the country and it's people he would stick with the interim government and stay in Baidabo.

The problem with Sharifka aka Speaker of the Parliament is that he does not have the courage of his convictions. Waa gabaldaye - a sunflower, marba dhinac uu jeesta. Did he assess his options when he agreed to move from Mogadishu to Baidoa? It seems not. He not only presided in the meeting that approved a peace keeping mission, but was one of its strong propnents. The guy is suddenly having an about face since he was told he is not leading the delegation that went to the last meeting in Khartoum.

Not much can be expected from some-one groomed by Qanyare!

Niya... excellent observation. He has double crossed all the sides and has no creditability among anyone.

Sharif Hassan has credibility among all Somali nationalists, he is a hero to every Somali with integrity, he is admired by all patriots who are against the Tigre and it's lackeys aka Afbiijo and Poodle Geeddi. He made his stance clear that he will never support anyone who is undermining the honor of Somalia, basically, he is THE MAN
