you shouldnt give qabil money if it's for the purpose of war.
but if it's qaraan money or a sick member of your qabil you should help. if your qabil is putting money 2gether 2 build a hospital or a school in your qabil town or village then you should take part and help out. dont be so greedy man. help out your people in need.

I never give qaraan when it is for war. As a matter of fact, my tribe never raises money for war. It is haram. However, I do participate extensively in qaraans for building schools and hospitals. I even volunteer to collect the money myself.....

Since you said you hanged up on him before you developed any serious qabiil talk conversation, how do you know if he was just calling to say maxaa sheegtay?

Tribe is a two-edged knife, you can use positively as in the case of a friend of mine whoÂ’s father's tribes people stepped to the plate when his mother died and father disappeared at an early age. So as you can see, the tribe provides individuals with necessary economic and social security.

The other negative side for tribes is also active, and practiced by Somalis as well. For example, if an argument arises between two persons, and one of them says, "Tolaayey" meaning "Where is my tribesman?" that little argument will immediately turn into conflict between two tribes.

Indeed, tribal systems have both good and bad within. So would I donate to my Qabiil? Heck yeah! Cause I ain’t about to let those good virtues, values, and respect which my “qabiil” offer go to waste.

...Who knows I might be at the receiving end of it one day Laughing
