So you're not familiar with the likes of Cali dheere, Shidhaane Ake or indha guluus Laughing These were old school actors before the reer Xamar transilated movies. When we were kids aside from Cartoons we were allowed to watch only Hindi movies.

Demure not all of us had a T.V,running tap water or a toilet. Some of us were actually born in Somali galbeed especially the regions with very little development, I think the most advanced thing in our tuulo and surrounding tuulos was a faynuus and the random guns you come across. The first time I visited Xamar I saw all these people oo tima qaawan waan naxay, I also noticed everyone was not wearing a macawiis, lets just say I adapted quickly. Laughing

When I actually went to Xamar to my family we had a darawal and the whole nine yards. Its just that my early years I did not live the same life as most of you Xamaris did.

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Not that my 'Walaweyn' is any good, but at the University I went to there was this Habar Awal Prof. I used to know and I used to take his son to the library sometimes to tutor him and just to hang out since he was the only boy among several sisters.

Anyways, I would eat @ the house and I couldn't understand the mother at all, every other word was like 'Yaah' and she couldn't understand me.

Even though she loved me to death, I could see very hard that she was trying to translate the Waqooyi Galbeed words into 'Walaweyn' language before she spoke them.

She was pretty close to being my mom in law Laughing

The kid used to call me brother in law

I am not from buulxaar, I am from Ina Nuur Muuse. My parents were both college educated, I just lived with my uncles for a bit to see how it is to live a real life, I am glad I experienced it though.
