Gen. Aideed is the most famous Somali man..even the americans have written books and made films about him and his victories!

In that case, Siyaad Mohammed Abdullae Hassan(Mad Mullah) is the most Famous Somali person throughout History, Books, documentaries and a film has been done about him. Not bad for a person that lived 100 years ago.
Oh yeah and his statue in Xamar, I dont think they would ever make one for aideed.
