This is a quote from an ICU official. This is how civil wars get dragged out forever. If the Ethiopians left, and the ICU got strong enough to regain its foothold, then the TFG could do the same thing, and kill every Somali who supports the ICU. An endless cycle ensues.

Mad ... That is why I am hoping for the TFG to avoid attacking Kismayo and negotiate with the UIC. Since the TFG has the upper hand, it should use it carefully and negotiate otherwise there will be a long term insurgency with no clear winner.
