AK-47 Prices SKYROCKET: Double in Value

Postby AbdiWahab252 » Wed Jan 03, 2007 4:09 pm

I smell war in the air.

The price of an AK-47 which is the best indicator of war has more than doubled from $120 on Monday to $300.

Supply has been restricted now that the Suuqa Ciir Toogte is shut down while demand is up.

Geedi wants everyone to hand in their gun for FREE.

Good luck !

The religious warlords never succeed in disarming, they only took the heavy guns from the warlords and their clans.

Mogadishu people will never hand over their guns, defenitely not for free Laughing

Who tha f.uck is that stupid to hand over $300 to the Tigre puppets?

Xoogsade:

The UIC did not take the small arms out of many residents by force. In fact there were many small arms left in the hands of many of my ilmadeer.

The UIC took the heavy weapons by using the Qabiil courts. Those who refused were forced.

This sitaution is different:

Disarming in the presence of Ethiopian troops.

Disarming Hawiyes when there are thousands of Puntlanders with their weapons.

Who can guarantee the security and safety of Xamar from Abdullahi Yusuf or his qabiil army or the Ethiopians ?

There is no TRUST between the TFG and the Xamar people.

You also have to consider that these weapons were PAID for in cash. Would you give something that you paid for ?

Perhaps what we need is to ban the public display of weapons.

^^^ Geeedo .... Exactly.

But let us face the truth, NO one trusts another for their own security in Somalia, not even among qabiils themselves.

The TFG will succeed in disarming the populations. But inshallah They should disarm the population all over Somalia and should compensate the people with a) finances or b) jobs in security i.e Nationaly army, police, coast guard etc

The TFg needs a comprehensive plan that can deal with the local population and The local population needs a representative from amongst them that can convince them of the benefits in living in a Weapons free (For the most part) Xamar, Baydhabo, beledywene, Bossaso, Galkacyo, etc

AW

But think logically. the people of Puntland have been disarmed for the most part for 9 years now. The people of Banadir have been armed to the Teeth for 16 years. How are you gonna disarm the locals of puntland when the people are armed as Police officer and the Puntland "DARAWIISH" Laughing it just doesn't make sense for that to happen.

Gedo:

Laughing Laughing

Why not send Hawiyes to Darood lands to disarm Darood ?

Darood to hawiye lands to disarm Hawiye ?

Abdullahi's bullet proof vest works well so he has nothing to fear.

GedoBoy: I remember seeing Abdullahi spend over 3 months in Xamar when it was crazy 1994.

Now he is AFRAID Laughing
