I believe Hawiye should just assume their role under Majeerteen rule. They just can't fight nature for ever.

These Majeerteens you gotta give it to them. They worked hard for this. Hadii aad maqli jirtay Kadii ayaan u soo cabay, majerteenku xaarkoodi ayay u soo cuneen. Laughing

Seriously, Hawiye si fiican ayaa siyaasaddi looga badiyey. The way events unfolded the past year was akin to a very well crafted movie script. They used the Courts to take out the Warlords, then they used Xabashi to take out the Courts. Shax ka wayn caqliga Hawiyaha ayaa loo dagay. Laughing

There's one problem with the theory. The warlords that the courts "took out" are the leaders of the TFG. And the Majertain, as much as I love 'em, are not running the TFG. At it's heart, the Hawiye are the dominant clan of the TFG.

Maxaad ula yaabi hawlaha waa la kala leeyahaye. Hawiye waligii xamaal iyo watchman kama koro, oo hadda AbdiHutu wuxuu u haystaa dalacaad inay tahay watchmanimada Beer Doofaar oo wuxuu ka sare maray watchmanimadii maqaaxiyaha iyo bakhaarada, this is the biggest step for him and he is accepting it with jubilation

Issaq kids:

The days of Hawiye vs. Darood are over.

Your dreams of "Somaliland" which is built on conflict in the South are numbered.

MadMac: You are correct in your analysis. The Hawiye are a dominant force in the TFG. They may be in two opposing groups but ultimately it will be a Hawiye candidate who will be in a powerful position.

Those warlords were Ministers and members of parliment. They did not state they were opposed to the idea of a TFG but had qualms with the CEO &COO.
