Kismayo is for those who were born and bred regardless of their qabiil. Bajun, Carab, Hindi, Paki and every Somali qabiil. We never knew who is who b4 the civil war started and then came ummad wada olalaysa oo qiiq ka baxayo, we didn't knew how to fight (honestly) because we were more civilized than the bunch of savages who terrorized our young and old, hence we vacated the place for them, knowing that, sooner or later, the ownership will come back to it's rightful heir.

In our absence, they have been killing each other like there is no tomorrow, and for what? Only to go back to their wretched lands and for Kismayo to get back to it's rightful owners

I am sick of this 'we own Kismayo stuff' who cares?

From the days of Morgan faruur, to the alcoholic Ina Cumar Jees to the thug Barre Huuraale, to the so called JVA, etc etc etce, not a single one of them saw Kismayo b4 the civil war.

These are ppl who were always involved in skirmishes, tribal wars and difficulties whereas reer Kismayo were peacefully sukking their succulant fruits, abundant caano geel iyo lo', playing soccer on the beaches, taking boats to Mombassa on vacations or flying to Mog, basically we were overfed bunch of brats. You're picturing a nice place, but I have horrible feeling Kismayo is like Mombasa and i hate that thought.
