Can you forget about the religion? I think men are conveniently doing so as we speak. I don't remember the Ayah exactly I believe it was in Sura'at Al nisaa; where it says we allowed you to marry up to four wives if you need to as long as you treat them fairly and equally and then in the next ayah it said something a long the lines; you are bani adam and stay away from commiting danbi.
Of probably prefering one over the other. So as we all know these men will probably not treat them all equally and fairly.
I say we should a female sheikh or culumad that has no steak in questioning these things. As probably most sheikhs are the first to have four wives.

I know the Ayah, and it doenst specify how and when to get married with the four women.. But it does say treat them equally....so what if the man is capable of doing so??? then do you agree with Allah's decree???
