The Somali military was good until the 1985.

The pilot of the Hunter plane defected to Djibouti in 1989 after refusing to kill Somalis in Hargeisa.

The young Abgaal pilot refused to kill his fellow Somali.

Men like him are true heros.

The Somali Military was the ONLY INSTITUTION that most SOmalis had faith and pride in.

It was the disasterous Ogaden War which destroyed it & brought the end of the Somali state.

If the Somali Military did NOT go to war in 1977. Maxamed Siyaad Barre would have been overthrow by it.
