I rarely understand why people disrespect themselves over the internet. Like I tell people "IT ONLY MATTERS WHAT YOU THINK OF YOURSELF"

You are not mentally impaired. Always know that.
Jeffrey,

Your family was among the lucky families that actually receieved an SNA escort. Many non-daarood families were left alone to feel the brunt of the USC mooryaan's ruthless campaigns.

What a lot of people don't know is that after 1991, many weak Hawiye or other clans that chose to stay were subjected to all kinds of torture.

The USC lied to their masses by promising to bring something better than Kacaanka Siyyad, but they were just a power hungary bunch.
mm

Unfortunately so walaal. However, initially, their main goal was to eradicate the Daarood. These Mooryaans would quickly shoot you point blank if they ever suspected that you were Daarood. I remember the trip when we headed back from Baraawe back to Xamar, we were stopped by the USC Mooryaans in Afgooye. It was my mother, siblings, my late abti (Allah uu Naxaaristo) and two of my mother's adeero. The Mooryaans wouldn't let us pass since they suspected that my abti was a Daarood because of his reer mudug dialect and not an Isaaq but alxamdullilah, my mother's adeero who had the waqooyi dialect testified that he was an Isaaq and let him go.

This shows the mindset of the mooryaan thugs who initially were keen on killing anything or anyone that remotely resembles Daarood.
