A new civil war?

I think the best way we can avoid another war in Somalia is for Abdullahi Yusef to resign. He is slowly showing that his intention is not to unify Somalia and if he stays in his seat then it will be the 90's all over again.

Who is actually giving him the time to progress? You can't win over a country it 2 months.

A simple resignation is not the answer, because thousands of carbon copies of A/Y are waiting to take his seat. What Somalia needs-in my opinion-is a thorougher re-vamp in gov. admin, and clear set of objectives need to be made, before anything can move on.

Sadeboi,

I agree with you, C/Y is a phony with no morals, ethics, or basic human compassion, this man will do or say whatever he feels necessary to stay in power. He has demonstrated to us plenty of times that he has no respect for human life, be it ICU or TFG.

He has caused more disgrace and problem for Somalis than good, he doesn't give a damn about the people or the country, markaa he should be removed ASAP, he doesn't deserve to be a president, warlordsim and presidentism don't mix.

Ethiopians are abusing and slaughtering, none other than his own people inside Somalia walibo, basically the man has no dhiig, geez how many more people are going to die before this man is stopped. Surprised

Put another MJ with dhiig on the seat, and get rid of this one. Laughing

not good enough. move all darod and hawiye out of somalia if you dont want civil war in somalia. as long as you have those two groups in somalia, civil war in somalia is unavoidable.

SadeBoie

Cabdulaahi Yuusuf is a Somali hero. He cleaned the ICU filth out of Somalia. He is working like a Trojan to bring to reconcile with the non-Wahaabi Hawiye citizens Xamar and the Government.

Why do you think he should relinquish his post?

Give concrete hard evidence and examples.

This got nothing to do with qabiil or cuqdad, I'm talking about the man himself and the qualities that he possess as an individual. To be honest with you I don't know anything about this reer diini cuqdad that you are talking about, and quite frankly I don't care.

He's dooro scoundrel trying to rule non-dooro lands. For that reason he should step down AND ask for forgiveness from all non-dooros for the pain, suffering and humiliation resulting from his decision to let Ethios in our land. That is if he wants peace and has good intention.

The recipe for the systematical lack of governance in Southern Somalia is quite straightforward. Darods should rule darods, Isaaqs rule isaaqs, Hawiyes rule hawiye, Digil and Mirifle rule themselves so should all other groups. NOw, that's only the skelatal outline. Geographical, dialectical, economical and other constrains will force some regions of varying clan composition to unite forming a single entity. Case in point Somaliland. Still other regions will be better off being comprised entirely of a single clan. Whatever the case the lingua franca of future Somali politics must be regionalism and clan states. Anything less will create more suffering and destitution.
