Spragga Benz
Damal was a MJ and Dhulbahante owned, The MJ dude was Khalif Mudan. He is big in Puntland. Was close to Abdullahi Yusuf but supported Jama Ali Jama.

Even Ali Khalif Galaydh had shares in Damal but I think the main guys was Mudan and this other dhulo guy.

Are you serious? Dahabshiil started in 1970? Shocked I thought all these companies started after the civil war Laughing

Yeah Business is about diversifying yourself. Sticking to one thing could make your company collapse one day.

The large Isaaq businesses you see today are old sxb. Dahabshiil was established in 1970s, but became big in Harti Sheikh refugee camp in the 80s. In the 90s DS broadened their horizon and catered to Isaaq in general and ultimately Somaliweyn. So Dahabshiil grew very gradually, which is healthy.

Other larger businesses in Hargeisa in construction for instance like Daryeel (contracting) and Daldhis (construction material) have been jumping around in Hargeisa since the 80s.

Highclass,

Didn't know the other guy was Dhulos. I heard he was a Reer Woqooyi from Berbera. So I assumed he was Isaaq, but I checked again and you're right he is Dhulos.

Mudan Airlines is definitely balling like a mafaka these days. It's working tirelessly on having the southern Somalia market on lockdown. Mudan Airlines has contracts with the TFG, the UN and other NGOs in the south and is the only airflight to and from Baydhabo and Beledweyne.

"Damal was a MJ and Dhulbahante owned, "

Wrong. It was owned by an Ciidagale and that Majeerteen guy.

Dahabshiil stablished the money transfere business in the 1990s. But owner used to operate his own business in Burao since the 1970s.

About Mudan Airline, give me a break nigga. They operate a single aircraft between Bosaso and Dubai once a week. Laughing Laughing

The UN and other Int'l Agencies like the EU/USA float tenders and qualified companies only win those contracts. There is no black market or behind the closet deals nigga. Laughing

He is Dhulbahante, I asked my father and I have seen it on the net too, I gonna have a look for source

Mudan AIrlines goes from Bosaso to Dubai, Galkacyo to Dubai, Twice a week It is a 1 year old company and has 2 airplanes. It has good relations with NGO's and UN organisations because of close links with Puntland and TFG. Dude charged UNDP $2000 per seat to Baidabo Laughing

When Dallo was 1 year in Business it used to go between Djibouti and Hargeisa Laughing Laughing Laughing

Be realistic man Laughing

Dahabshiil dude was in Money transfer since 1970, http://www.dahabshiil.com/about.jsp

wallahi this people waa unbelievable, They trying to tell us they ballin with their mudan airline Laughing , there is no way you guys can reach us the Isaaq business Tycoons, Daallo Airline is the Biggets air line that operates in 3 continents Africa, Asia, Europe, and soon America and Australia. And you people are trying to compare Mudan Laughing common guys be more realistic..
About Dahabshill that guy has the Somali Xawaala business \on lock down, it doesnÂ’t matter how many xawaalas you guys open up, you will never reach his standard, his even started new businesses now Such as, Import and export, Hotels, Construction etcÂ…Â…

LiQaaye Laughing

-Dahabshiil is in Decline, Qaran Express and Amal are taking up their market shares. Amal Group is now bigger company then Dahabshiil company not in Money transfer but the size of its business and diversification. And we have proven that.

- Mudan Airlines started in July 2005, Dallo started in 1991. Mudan is much more successful then Dallo was in its 1 year Laughing Dallo used to go between Djibouti and Hargeisa in its first year, Mudan in its first year goes between Dubai - Boosaaso and Dubai - Galkacyo. And it serves all of the UN organisations, NGO's and government organisations that operate in Somalia And also Puntland/TFG.

You are not being realistic, Since 1991 Dallo as been doing good but The success of Mudan Airlines as a new company is significant compared to Dallo in its 1 year. Laughing

Abti ma ka yaabtay indho adayga ragan Daarood adna Laughing Dahabshiil is lamost an International Bank iska daa Soomali Dahabshiil made inroads into African communities, many Sudanese and other Africans send their money via Dahabshiil instead of Western Union and other money transfer companies out there, the only Xawaalad that came close was Al-Barakaat which is history, Amal is a small time Dooro Xawaalad used by Dooro mainly and is no way near what Dahabshiil is making, Dahabshiil's sofware alone can buy Amal iska daa lacagta kale Laughing . I hear Qaranexpress is owned by Isaaq

Dallo Airline is a pioneer, it is a major African Airline with many destinations in Africa, Europe and Asia, small time Mudan can not compete and I hear Dallo is coming to North America soon so we can fly home from here and not have to go to London and fly from there

Maalin dhowna waxay ku odhanayaan Xoogsade anagaa ka lacag badan Laughing Laughing Laughing

I wish Isaaqa consolidate all of thei money and effort in Somaliland, walee it can be the richest country in Africa if every Isaaq tycoon brings his business home, from Ibrahim Dheere in DJebouti to Xoogsade in Ethiopia to Indhobuur in Kenya and many more

Highclass, ABdullahi Yusuf through backdoor influence pushes U.N Secretariats to give U.N flight contracts to Mudan Airlines and hence the company's success.

Forget about Bosasso, Warsangeli owns four major factory in Hargeisa. 1 Water, 2 plastic bags, 3 Pasta, and 4 juice drinks. Businessmen go to wherever is booming and no doubt Hargeisa and Bosaso are booming today in terms of business.

High, what happened to Jama Blue Airlines, Is it still in operation?
