Lets be honest here, the type of man that wants to wives, is usually a pervert of some sort (apart from when disaster happens in some war torn place and the innocent elderly ones that need a legacy...quick!).......so its really against the idea of marrying a pervert....if you think about it
The Quran limitated against polygamy pointed out the possibility of abusing God's law. it's conditional that a person wants to be equitable towards the orphans, another would be for women who are widows. it is not as simple as ''i want to have another wife''. That Is Not What The Quran is advocating! girls calm down.
