The road from Hargeisa to Harar (through Jijiga) IS NOT PAVED. I just drove it 18 months ago. Dirt all the way buddy. You don't hit paved road until you get to Harar (Harar to Dire Dawa is paved).

The paved road stops at Kalabaydh which is about 20KM from the bordertown of Togwachaale.

I didn't like Jijiga. Dire Dawa is a MUCH nicer city. But I did like that drive.

I 100% agree with you there, i was thinking of the same thing, with in the next few years Berbera City will be a booming city, so grab as much land as you can afford, while the rest of the somalilandders have their eyes on Hargeisa,Burco,Ceerigabo and boorame....
