kam, i only read the last part it was hard for me to read/understand the somali, i could only make out a few words.

anyway, i am 21 years old, no lie. but it's true, somali people like lying about their age. i once said ''hi habaryar'' to my aunt, and she said, "habaryar baa? call me abayoo." and i swear the lady was like 45 and i was 18.

Why is it a big issue?

Personally I can't wait to be 37. Somehow I always thought that was a glamorous age. Don't have long to go now

It is a big issue for so many reason:

1.To lie is a big issue whatever it is...Isn't lying itself a sin to abhor?

2. For a 23 yr old to be in the same class with a 13 yr old is an issue.

3. For a 45 yr old to claim 28yrs old is an issue.. Just imagine he/she can retire after 17yrs(82yrs) than the regular people who retire at the age 65...

4. This is not fair to people who want to get married... My brother who is 28 yrs almost got married to a 41yrs when she lied to him about her age and told him she was 31...

5. I saw a teen who was 16yrs and who befriended with a 29 yrs whom he assumed was 18 yrs because he was in the same class.... And the teenager got into lots of trouble because of his older friend who happened to be a bad person..

I can go on and on.... What is wrong with people...
