We are entering a new trend of world music of urban folk art. New artists and musicians have mushroomed all over the the Diaspora and at Home as more audience enter to their music world, listen, and reflect intensely of the new sound bite and variety of voices. However, old people are split on their choices towards the new change of our music: those who are reviled by the copyright violations and strange voices devoid of the sanguirine talents like Magol and Tubeec and those who recall the days of Iftin Entertainment in the late 80s and want to see our music flourish and grow at the same pace or more better even though technology changes every year. Who do you think has the potential to be admired and liked years to come? Our music is now at a crossroads working to compete with Sudan and India. These two countries's popular music genres are very close and connected to our music.
