I have to say those who convert to Islam in order to marry a muslim hardly ever become real muslims. Some women either accept their husbands are not muslim and deal with the consequences while others live in a lie and portray their husbands as muslim. For example some of my aunts accept their Italian husbands are not Muslim and everyone knows while a family friend claims her husband is a muslim (American) when everyone knows he is not. I mean the man can't even pray well and drinks...well, she does too, but I find it funny that she actually thinks she is fooling anyone by that. Actually she was cheating on him, maybe he was Mad Mac.

I have to defend eyes on this one. I did not find his post to be judgemental. Rather he's just making a generic observation. I am sure Eyes recognizes as well as anyone that he is not in a position to declare his uncles kufr. Just that they don't seem very Islamic. And you have to admit, converting in order to get a woman seems like a false pretext. I mean, why didn't you convert before you met the woman. I am sure some guys do that and then discover that they really believe the creed. But most are probably doing it for the nookie and this is not an invalid observation.
