i think most ppl realize ahmed gurey was Marehan and those who have nothing to do with the sayid would rather make him into foreigner then Marehan.

read Futuh Al Habasha, "i think" doesn't work in this time and age
DawladSade;

Would you care to explain what Marehan was doing in Zaila, 500 years ago?
500 yrs ago I think Marehan were more closer to Zaila than they were to Galgaduud which is the most northern place they live today

DawladSade;

It horrible how everyone is getting out of shape soon you try to point out the difference between documented fact and fairytales that they grew up with. The truth hurt some people. It discussion and if you civil, you probably will learn how to get along with other humans perhaps with your own Marehan sub-clans. Isn’t better if you stick with the topic. present your case instead of trying to say xabashi baan ku dhihii, oon kugu khuu khin. Let me show you how you don’t have any fact and covering your self by diverting the topic to name calling.
Now, you can say, Marehans are fairly primitive pastoral people today, its miracle hwo thy migrated and made noticeable presence to the most northern Somaliland territory. Are you getting confuse with habar cise and cissa people of Zaila and awdal region who still live there. History shows in1500 AD the area is controlled by Afar sultan of adal kingdom. Not any Somali clan. You should also look to all the Somali clan who make claim that guray was one of them. There is no evidence thy have any presence in that region. Another point that’s making your story fake is your fake map.

You’re trying to deceive us by trying to use 19 century maps, for 14 century event. Quit, there are no marehans beyond Gedo, Galguduud and maybe small settlement in Mudug. Now, you should explain how they got to Zaila over 1500kl away. For better for worst, stay with junior Hitler inkaar qabee afwayne. Who and what you are start and ends there. As for Somalis search for hero, the saga counting.
