what system of government do you think somalia should be rule upon? Why?

every states has own laws and rules its own but they have one president and country

a loose federal system where the states have local power and have a stronger say in federal issues. the federal government to be in charge only in defense and foreign policy, and laws concerning international treaties. the states should have powers such as law and order, health, education and so on.

what is the tfg based on? american or british parliamentary system? who is more powerful, the president a.yusuf or the prime minister? can abdulahi yusuf sack geedi? what is you view? i don't like people starting topics without an input on their own topics.

Musika man, sorry it took me awhile to post my suggestion. I think that the current Somali gov't neither is based on the American or the British system entirly,however,in this current formation of the gov'tment yes the PM is actually more powerfull then the President b/c of the way the parliment is set up.But if the president wants to fire his PM is can certainly do so, if he can good reasons to do so. I my view I think Somalia with its internal complex situation should adopt the American governotorial system just cuz we as Somalis do have differents state that is a degaan for certain clan and each clan can have its own state laws and regulations under a federal law.

keep the people equal because in the contest to leadership of the nation im affaid...jahiilnta of somalia outnumber waxgaradka...so we need at least a decade to educate the future of SOmalia and then introduce Democracy

Other wise power will fall into all the wrong people and somalia will be full of problem.... just have chosen leaders and keep it that away silencing the uneducated in the mean time allowing then to retain the same right as the rich and educated enabling access to a good life...

the educated just have to tolerate it... because it the quickest way out of this... nonesense Somali leaderships.

I agree with you in the way that in our situation the illterate outnumber the literate. But in a Socialist state, the power and ownership is the gov't and we need to move out of that. How about education our people about diplomacy and rules to establish a democratic country,so that they can choose?

We have been thru Socialist era and look at what it did the Somalia. Its a known fact the socialist states have more corruption than any other form of gov't. I acknowledge that the ppl of Somalia have a long way to go b4 they can understand diplomacy however, we need to give a chance and educate ppl about. The only thing you will get out of Socalist state is unequal living standard and poor socioeconomic where the rich gets richer and the poor gets more poor.
