I dont get it...and we Somalis baashaal

.... well everyone except the depressed looking bride....
Is there a historic/cultural reason for the tears? You know, like, they carry flwoers because they didnt bath very often in those days and all that other crap.

I think it has something to do with the bride, It's always hard seeing your daughter getting married and starting her own family, The thought of letting her go, hits them the last minute. Thats mainly why they shed tears for. However I could be wrong, that may not be the case, But that's how I perceive it.

the brides family cries because they're happy they don't have deal with that tramp anymore
the grooms family cries because their little boy doesn't have to jerk off anymore
the people who are single cry because they're jealous
and the married cry because they know the misery that is awaiting this young couple

No I cant, I might also cry when I marry my current GF as well. just the thought of having her for myself might make cry like a small baby, I doubt it though.

why do somali brides look like they will be electrocuted on the wedding night. i went to a couple of somali weddings and people tell them because they are terrified what will happen to them that night after they arrive their bedroom. people react differently. white people are happy they got married. they cry in excitement, just like some people cry in exastaccy when they make love.
