Habashis are okay people for the most part. I really dont know why somalis and habashis hate each other so much on the net, but in the real world they act frdly.
When it comes to government, they both are tied. habashis have a government that does nothing for its people, while somalia has no government.
Single family, i would have to say Habashi, most somali families i know have two parents.
Educated: Tied, i see a lot of somalis at my school as well as ethiopians
Refugees: Somalis, but i also see a ton of habashis here, but they came here for other reasons.
I think both Habashis and Somalis are hard working, particularly the younger generation.
When it comes to violence, here in NA Somalis don’t get into shit from what I can tell, but I heard in UK they are nasty. I blame their parents, they need a good ass beat down from their moms.
Wealthier: A lot of Somali business people so I would have to say on average Somalis.
Somalis are very clannish people, but Habashis hate other Habashis just as much as Somalis hate other clans.
Better parents: Somali moms are the best! My dads not Somali so I cant really talk about them, but my uncles are kick ass dads. The problem with Somali men is when they start smoking khat. When I went to England to visit my cousins the house across the street was a khat house where Somalis and some arabs would smoke khat, very nasty.
I know that there are a lot of famous Somalis that are contributing to the world such as rageh omar, waris dirie, and some other writers.
When comparing Somalia to Ethiopia, I think Somalia has a greater potential in the future ( Aids is like less than 1%, while in ethio its reaching 10%)
Strategically placed in the world, large coastline/many ports.
Mogadishu just has to be secured.
