I think the Walter Reed scandal is overblown. Fix the problem and move on.

As for 08, I wouldn't be so sure. Obama looks like a strong candidate down the road, but he is short of experience at this point. Hillary is despised by half the country, so she won't have much swing vote to work with. The problem for the democrats is they don't have a big name going for them. I think the Republicans with a McCaine - Lieberman ticket (Lieberman is now an independent) could prove very difficult to defeat. But the democrats will still control the congress.

have you ever a combatant or you are a cook or work as a logistics soldier? wtf do you mean walter read scandals were oveblown when you have injured soldiers treated like dowgs and chenney is treated like a prince in walter reed? hillary will loose and it is a democrats dream team of edwards and obama on a ticket.

They were not treated like Dogs. And yes, I am a combat veteran (Why people deride cooks, though, I don't know. Cooks are a valueable member of the military - you have to eat). The overflow accomodation was run down and sub-standard. So fix it.

The media and the democrats want to make political hay out of it. They will never miss a chance to attack Bush or talk about Iraq. That's what's really going on here.

Edwards is too bland. Obama is too young. BUT, Obama is probably a real threat for 2012.
