Da other night my isaaq friend and me was just cussin eachother about how weird our diffrent accents are..she OBVIOUS dropped da "BANOONI" joke..so i said KUBAAD...den she comes up with "TELE-CAMANDO"...i was like wtf does dat mean..den ma lil sister came in da room and said it means REMOTE CONTROL...im sorry but i refuse too believe..so like..can any reer xamar people..southern'er's tell me how we say REMOTE control?

That would come from the 'Maria-Mariams' of Somalia that loved all things Italian......I still have family members who say 'antedelora' for painkillers and lots of other stuff that we have Somali words for Confused

Looool @ Lady....what about 'faankuulo' 'faarabuuto'....'rejibeeto'...'roseeto' etc. If we looked hard enough we could find the Somali alternative for them all...even one for 'rimuudka telefsoonka'....we could make it up of we wanted to.
