I was reading this little tit for tat discussion and article. Frankly, I do not see how it is possible for a resolution to the crisis in the Levant if we don't have a settlement that revolves around something close to the 67 borders, two state solution. Hamas position obviously makes that impossible at present.

The real question is, how many here believe that Hamas is right, that Israel should not be recognized, that the agreements made by the Palestinian Authority under Arafat should be abbrogated, and that the Palestinians should continue to attack Israel with whatever means at their disposal?

What is the importance of recognition from the Palestinians when all they get is a raw deal: lose more land by each day & all the world can do is sit back and watch it happen.

hamas is wrong they should recognise israel and they should teach their kids not to care a suicde attack. how stupid could they be sending their kids to the battlefield while their fathers/uncle is still alive.even their women is braver than their mens.

I Think the recongnition of Isreal will be devasting to the palestinian people. Though they are smart about covering their dirty laundry, The jews are power hungry and will never stick to any agreements.
