Why is Somali gene the weakest gene in the World???

Actually, blue eyes come from a recessive gene. Both parents can have a non-blue phenotype and still produce a blue-eyed child.

My father had gray eyes and my mother hazel. Two sisters had brown and I have hazel. My brother has blue.

I have seen a good number of Somalis with bright gray, almost blue eyes.

I lliked the explanation that said it was because the genotype is mixed.

That is possible. I have seen it in my family as well. My father has hazel brown eyes while my mom has dark brown eyes yet my eldest brother was born with green eyes and as he got older it changed color to blue. The funny thing is my grandfather on my dad's side has grey eyes also.

Genes does play a part in everything. Sometimes children of two parents may have genes more from their grandparents than anything. That includes eye color, hair colour, face structure, nose, cheekbone structure....just about anything.

Don't be silly, there's no such thing as 75% harti/25% isaaq. What the fuk is that suppose to mean? There's also no such thing as half half. In Somalia's clan system, you're ALWAYS 100% the clan of your father. Your mom's clan is totally silent. If you go down the road of claiming other than your dad's clan, you might as well claim being Hawiye, Dir, Oromo etc since you're descendent of them as well.

Clan wise I'm Habar Yonis Isaaq...but if you look at my family most are Hartis. My mother is Majerteen both side of her family, while father is father is Haber Yonis but his mother is Warsengali.
