WTF how can the three major clans in somalia be under threat?

Somalia was third-worst last year for minority rights, says MRG
Somalia has overtaken Iraq as the world's most dangerous country for minority groups, a study has found.

Sudan, Afghanistan and Burma followed in the global survey by the Minority Rights Group International (MRG).

It alleges the US ignored abuses of minorities in countries supporting the US "war on terror" including Pakistan, Turkey and Israel.

Sri Lanka saw the highest rise in persecutions with renewed fighting between government and rebel forces.

"A new government in Somalia has raised hopes for democracy, but it is also a uniquely dangerous time," said MRG's director Mark Lattimer.

"There is the spectre of a return of large-scale clan violence - and groups that supported the old order are now under tremendous threat."

MRG said the Darood, Hawiye and Issaq clans are under threat as well as the Bantu group.

Loool@ daarood, hawiye and isaaq being under threat of extinction. These are the ones that cause the most suffering. May be not isaaq as much but the other 2 are to be blamed for all of somalia's problems.

He is right. He has not lost his mind, instead you haven't grasped his theory based on ethnic inter-conflicts that have been going on for all these years and other determinant factors. Darood and Hawiye and Isaaq are going to be killing each other in the context of power vacuum or international intervention. He lists many countries. For instance he lists Shia, which is considered majority as one of people under the threat of exitinction because every month thousands of Shia die. Mass Killings, draught, starvation, preventable diseases, etc.
Read the whole document , don't just jump on the brief summary article.

Donkey, can you be elaborate sxb, the dude clearly says that daarood, isaaq, hawiye and bantus are in danger and classifies them as minorities. The somali bantus are civilised peaceful somalis and indeed may be in danger but the other 3 are not. They are ignorant and arrogant bastards that make the lifes of other poor somalis a living hell. So how are they in danger of extinction? You might right i dont know, but your explanation stinks my donkey friend, lol.

It is about the consequences of the war that is engulfing Somalia all these regions he mentioned because the killings and violence have been constant. What other news have you had from Somalia other than widespread violence and conflicts all over Somalia?
