Wali nin matahey? Are you a MAN yet?

Postby 1nemansquad » Fri Apr 06, 2007 9:12 pm

As an actual i would present that we have very few men here.

If you are still in highschool, you are not a man yet.

If you are going to university or college, you are not a man but you are not a boy either. You are a guy. That being said, there are exceptions for folks such as those who are putting themselves through school while raising a kid or working a full time job and supporting a family or families and going through university or collage part time.

It's not so much an age qualifying thing to me, it's more or less if you've accepted major responsibilities and hold them down on your own. I can say i have. It's also a degree of maturity that doesn't come until you get past that age of the latest Hip Hop tune or Geer.

There's an enlightenment age that it just dawns on you that you're no longer a boy, a kid, a teen, a guy, etc.

For me it came around early on at the age of 11. Resonsibility was handed to me before i was completely prepared for it due to the fact that its a family practice and has been for many years. I accepted it and it made me. Unfortunately i can't speak more of this.

So do you consider yourself there yet?

I was a man even before i hit puberty abti, as far as i can remember, i was always responsible for my own well being or that of my immediate family member(s). wether it was working part time and even sometimes full time jobs through high school and now in college, that was the least of the things that were expected of me considering my situation. but guess what, i wouldn't have it any other way wallahi, this way you appreciate the simple things in life that people take for granted. I'm a MAN gawdamnit!

"So do you consider yourself there yet?"

Am I man yet? No. I’m Not men, guy or boy. I not sure if this thread can apply to me because i'm a female. Laughing
but i will twist this thread to answer the question to

... do i consider myself a women?

I think i was really mature when i was 13-14. When i was 13-20 i believe was slightly naive but very responsible.
this past year i would consider myself a women in some ways. Only because of the way i handle things and what i have handled in the past. I think will consider myself a full adult/women when I'm married, with kids, and a career. In the mean time I'm part girl and a part women.

since this topic is about men.lol . i can say MY opinion of a real men is proven in his children and how he changes the world. Visa verse with women.
