Everywhere I look, I see wholesale, unchecked racism from blacks who feel
they cannot be charged as being racists no matter what they say or do. I
think I remember somewhere, some black leader leading the charge that
blacks cannot possibly be racist, because of all the tribulation that has
gone on for the last 400 years. Blacks contend I guess, that slavery
continues even today in a form different but equal to the slavery no black
person in the U.S. has ever experienced. Too often I see blacks slather
and rant at white people, use racial slurs, make attempts to intimidate
whites using stereotypes they percieve that whites believe for their own
racially based gain. I don't see any organizations of blacks that activly
seek whites to fellowship to help heal the undercurrent and unspoken
closeted fears. Instead, all I see are blacks who make it quite clear that
they have no interest in solving race problems. On the contrary, I see
blacks using the continuing racial division to propogate a dwindling racial
divide that is kept alive by blacks themselves. Rarely do I see a white
child on the street with the word 'nigger' on his lips than I do a black
child who regurgitates the self same word or the ubiquitous 'cracker',
'white boy' or whatever. It's easy to see that the black youth of today
learns such attitudes from those they surround themselves with - the racist
black adult. The black adult who teaches their young closeted hatred and
mistrust of white people but at the same time becomes hysterical at the
thought of any non-black person using racially motivated speech. How can
so many civilized people become so intellectually dishonest and expect
change? The answer is of course is that such people don't really want
change; they need the status quo so that a closer examination of themselves
will not return a suspect agenda.
I think of this often when I see rallys in our cities, protesting the KKK
at legitamite lawful gatherings and yet the overwhelming majority of those
protesting the presence of the KKK are white. Not to say of course that
there are no racist whites, but the appalling absence of modern-thinking
blacks who truly want racial cohesivness and despises racism in all it's
forms is rare indeed.
