Why are muslims more discriminated in Turkey than in US or E

Postby Ceelgabo » Tue May 01, 2007 2:15 pm

Why is it that muslims woman cannot wear hijab to work place or school in Turkey, but in America, Canada, and Europe Muslims are allowed to practise their religion freely with any discrimination. Does anyone think Turkey will eventually become more extreme like Iran, because of the oppression of Islam.

What happened to the Ottoman Turks who defended Islam and feared by Kuffars everywhere????

This is the legacy of Ataturk and his zeal to modernise, combined with the state of the ummah in countries where Islam is the dominant religion. Westernised Turks fear a taliban like government and are desparate to join the EU.

When Islamic values ruled Turkey it was the richest in the World, on the contrary secular Turkey today is begging Europe to sit on the table as equal partner.

Was Ataturk a freemason or Illumanati????

attaturk was ineed a great father for turkey. one of the main and important reason turkey wont be aloud in eu is because of the drugs half of the drugs rolls in eu and destroys the economy of eu.in instanbul alone is than im talking about a city of turkey let alone all of turkey is one of the world's centers for drug buying and selling. The major player is the PKK who use a network of Kurds as retail outlets to sell heroin in Europe. Turkish heroin goes for $6500 per kilo wholesale and when it gets to Germany or The Netherlands it jumps $35,000. If it gets to North America it can sell for up to $75,000. That's what the dealer pays.

Attaturk recognized that the old theocratic forumla was no longer competetive in the modern world. He knew that to move Turkey forward politically and economically, it had to be a secular state. The majority of Turks in Turkey, even today, support what he did. So it is not for you stateless, backward focks to criticize.

Why is Turkey so poor than Saudi Arabia and Dubai and basically almost Arab countries.

Iran is more advanced than Turkey. Iraq was also prosperous before you fukers invaded and destroyed their economic infrastructure.
