Journey Through War - A Documentary by Jeffrey Gettleman

Postby Gladiator= » Tue May 01, 2007 7:23 pm

Watching this documentary, you will see real people and events about Somalia's frenzied situation. It is very informative program that consists of interviews and news. There is a tough mother in it that comments on the ICU's regime and how they deprived the surviving mothers of their sources of revenues and business.

At the end, there is a wedding Gettleman attends and a beautiful Somali chicks dancing in there. Nice one.

Has anyone seen this before? I want to hear what you think of our plight shown in this video. I was touched by it.

Soldiers are illeterate 98% and most of them are teens. It saddens me.

Yeah he says everything depends on the disarming of the people, a priority task for the transitional government.
