Ismahan

The refugees am refering to are the more than 15,000 Ogaadeen refugees welcomed to Hargeisa after the Somali/Ethiopia war of 77, the Somali government allowed them to settle in Hargeisa, the people of Hargeisa welcomed them and the ungrateful cagodheers turned around and supported the oppresive regime of Barre, formed their own pro-government militia in Hargeisa and became spies, theives and killers.

If you were living in Waqooyi in 1988 you would understand.

Advo-

If 10, 000 of were killed, Somali reganimo made people say "5 of us died" while seeking revenge. I though it was a "Somali" tradition before I found out it was only a reer Mudug thing and some of the claimers of being Somali are totally different when dealing with raganimo. Laughing

Calaacal seems to be a man's occupation in some groups. Laughing

I bet you belong to one of the clans who supported the evil Barre regime.

Being Isaq from Waqooyi in 1988 is one thing and living in Waqooyi in 1988 is another, you could be one of the many relatives of Somali army personnel living in the North

X,

It doesnt matter the circumstances dear, but the whole notion of calling them refugees in their own country is just absurd and quite redicules if you ask me. That was a war between us as Somalis and Ethiopians, yes, but as far as OG are concerned they are Somali and the war happened in their terriories, therefore, for them to seek refugee in whereever it was save for them in other areas of "their" country is quite alright. That does not qualify them as refugees though.

PS please stop the victim mentally, everyone lose something in our sadly unfortunately recent history.
