Is there anyone here who is a fan of the Jeremy Kyle show? I've recently noticed that a lot of women like these kind of shows, but is there any reason for this?

Salaam Abakar,

Liking the Jeremy Kyle Show? Ewww. I don't, thats for sure. But a lot of ladies do like reality shows. I guess it takes away the boredom, and the fact that it's real life helps, cause you never know others might be going through the same problems.

Ala kulli xaal, that show maxa laisku keen, dysfunctional people, dad oo ada iyo ada uu liita. This puts me off major. I don't know how others can like it.

WSM, wa calaykum salaam.

One of the things i never understand about these shows is how they use lie detectors to prove a case. I mean, how can they detect subconscious changes in the human brain?

Eh, I thought the lie detector was to monitor changes in the heart rate amongst other things. Okay I don't really know what I'm on about Abakar, I don't feel like researching, and I'm starting to feel dumb :x Can you stop it please?

All I know is, these machines aren't 100% correct, i.e. they can be duped.

.....Do you like reality T.V. shows?

I used to remember back in the days, watching Cilla Black, iyo Man-O-Man, and Gladiators...remember?

Wasn't Gladiators that show about macho men grappling each other, which didn't even appear on tv again for almost ten years?

 Bismilah, this doesn't look good, you enjoy women being boxed around? Tsk tsk.......

How about when two ladies are fighting for a man? Or vice versa.

Ka darag,

Dear, it doesn't come on anymore, it used to be on back in the days. I remember watching it in my teenage years.
