I think when you meet the right person..the one Allah has written for you that long list is out of the window.I know this girl..she is a relative of mine. She met this handsome guy at a wedding. He was perfect in her eyes..well educated, very handsome with a great job. After 3 month of getting to know eachother he asked for her hand. They got married and realty hit them both. You know what they say, you will never get to know a person till you liv with them.Well now 2yrs later she asked for divorce...reason...ninku waa bakhayl. That great guy turned to a monster the minut they got married...counting every penny she spent.

The moral of story is: tawakal cala Allah and hope for the best and pray salaatu istakhiraah.Only Allah know qalbiga qof kasta..si kasto ood nin wanaagsan oo raadisid, ilaahy uun ba og wixi kugu soo hagaagy. But whatever you do never settle for less.
Waa run, only Allah knows wixii kuu ficaan and wax walba wey qoran yihiin lakin surely 3 months is too short a time to decide to marry someone? Honeymoon courtship period is not even over yet

Well at least you are very specific in what you want

Actually, if the guy is rich, other women will want him regardless of how he looks.

Actually giving real advice here, I'd advice all You Guys to not delay marriage too much.

I see ladies in my area in their 30's and every guy they meet, he says sorry I wanna have kids and you're too old. Sad but true.

Generally speaking the age ratio I see is the girl being 3-4 years younger than the guy give or take. So guys in their late 20's are looking for girls from like 22-25. You get past that age range it starts to get difficult.
If you find the right person and you are ready to get married, most people would go ahead and get married. However there is no point getting married to the wrong person when you're not ready just because you've reached a particular age.

My Ideal man comes 6 foot 1 inch, carmal-to-brown complexion and an attidue to match mine, i.e. Farax can handle me. A charmer, with a drop-dead, and I mean DROP dead smile - whoosh, there goes my breathe. Curls, and more curls, curls of riotous hair, a lean body that supports a good amount of muscle, SIX pack LADIES. He is a believer and a GOOD one, he embodies the Sunnah, has a beard that none has seen before, has a beard that every girl starts dreaming her guy will look like that after he gets a beard, sweet dreams girls. Educated, family orientated and money to keep me statsfied, MONEY? Who the heck needs money with this kind of man! We can live in a 1 bedroom flat if the situation calls for it, nah seriously he is a tycoon.

I aiming high nooh, my ideal man is either that ^^ or a Prophet! I dream for the latter.

What do you think BV, shall I book with my GP?

Why "haxoor" ?

Depends are you like the wastemen WstLdn and Helwaa mentioned or the good ones that were mentioned?

Now that is being specific

If your GP is your ideal man then you are of the lucky few who've actually met their Mr.Right so why waste the opportunity? I don't think a prophet is going to be coming by any time soon, so I'd settle for the perfect doctor if I were you.

PO's right this is an upgrade from the tufaax

Naa maya! The GP is to go see for my head! :x Guys like that don't exist in this World, everyone has a fault. Loooool@ upgrade from the tufaax, wallahi I love the tufaax story. My mum claims gabdha Somaalida when they get married to nin ajnabi, thats all they get! :|

My real ideal man, the REALITY one, is nice guy, oo iska shaqeysto, his practising enough and is KIND. I'm really concerned with personality mainly and the level of his Islam, because that is what is really going to matter to me the most. I've always seen myself married to a chubby guy, must be the bear hugs that does it for me! :~D

PO, I don't really like tufaax, I'm upgrading to Mangoe.

Habloow....would you ever get with a guy that's shorter than you? Be it only a couple of inches or a foot and more shorter would you consider it?
'Dude has to be taller than me' is always at the top of my list when thinking of my ideal man....everything else comes under that. Heck, anytime a guy who is below my height approaches me...I always think "Are they serious?". Maybe a little harsh but thats always what comes to mind....
