What a stupid thread. Can you please keep the hijab out of your "relationdship" threads. This is not the first thread I've seen where the hijab is made out to be something that men demand.

Yeah it depends on the country. As long as it's not far away from where my family lives then I got no problem.

You're underestimating how impressionable people can be in general. Your opinion/conduct could be changed by attending 1 lecture, or reading a book, or just experiencing/being in a certain situation. Its pretty rare to find someone who stays and thinks the exact same way after college, let alone marriage.

before entering into a long term relationship with a man such as a marriage, it's best to sort out all inhibitions/antagonist views. an inner reconciliation if u will.. with a lot of the issues dogging the single female mind. if the idea of compromise, which is essential in a relationship, is repulsive to you, marriage is not for u...

Lillahiya I'm talking about people expecting overnight changes from you. What you're talking about is gradual change which is healthier, that doesn't come about from force/pressure. Changing too much to the point where you're unrecognisable is problematic too.

Zuleikha I agree marriage is all about compromise. Somalida taas aa ku yar, hence the high divorce rate.
