Hair, hair!

Postby InaSamaale » Sat Mar 01, 2014 1:38 am

So I cut my hair super short at whim about two months ago. It's growing back but I kind of need to speed up the process. Anyone know of good hair treatments that promote hair growth? I heard keratin treatment is good, anyone hair tried it before ?

I don't think anything can make your hair grow faster...have a feeling it's all bs.
Why did you cut your hair?

How long ago did you cut your hair? Lol
I so want to cut my hair super short too and I've been debating with myself on it. Can't seem to gather the strength to do it and I think since you seem to regret it, it's my sign not to cut.

Ps I'm not sure what helps grow hair... I'm with Cherine on this.

It comes down to how well you look after your hair. Hair grows but if you don't take care of it, it will break off.

Be gentle when you detangle, deep condition (weekly) and keep it moisturised. You will see the difference.

SummerRain, don't do it. Especially if you're indecisive like me.

Jas, I brush it daily. Its not that, its too short to be falling off. I'm just after jack and the beanstalk type growth. Anyone have magical beans? :x

I agree with you. I cut my hair very short like bob cut about 4 months ago. I deep condition it every 5 days and keep it moisturized always. I am seeing differences walee. And it stopped falling off actually.

Ina, next time don't cut your hair. Trust me, I am regretting it  For me it's kinda growing back, slowly though.

Deeqa, never again, I haven't told you about my whole struggle xitaa. First, it was way shorter than a bob and second it was cut layered. Can you imagine dealing with short, layered unruly curls first thing in the morning? :(

I think you guys are right though, I may need to moisturize more. I kept washing it like everyday and sometimes twice a day for the entire summer 'coz of the heat. :|

Washing your hair everyday can affect its condition and may even break more making its natural oil disappear. It makes it dry and weaker. So limit your washing to at least three or four times a week.

I recently started using Mega Growth hair products, and it is also anti breakage. The conditioner is superb and the oil is really good as a hot oil treatment for deep soothing.
