The first Video is the original dance while the second one is kinda a Remix and what do you mean what are we doing in Jiga Jiga. You do realize there are more Samaroon and Essa in Somali Galbeed than Somalia and Djibouti Combined.

Abdikarim

You forgot the city the dance was named after Saylac. The city where the dance originated. But you right this is a dance for people starting from western Hargeisa to Djiboutio.

There are plenty of towns but who counts little midget towns. Fact is all Zoomali are Screwed in that area as long as the bastards are occupying the land. I hate to say this but dhaanto is boring to me. My Fav dance is one mostly done by men from erigavo where they are spinning like maniac's.

Yeah wa runta wallahi, is a collective suffering... dhaanto has been westnerised, im talking about the good old dhaanto not the rusbbish that is played nowadays..the Dhaanto you seen being played in the West is not the real one, they modernized it thus losing its origin :x :x nowadays specially when u go to weddings everyone thinks they can do dhaanto but it looks like Kriss Kross's 'jump around' clip :x

..so dhaanto wins hands down  nothing beats good old dhaanto, the lyrics are impressive

PS: U talking abt Jaandheer eh  it aint bad

Jaandheer is common in Ceerigaabo, sanaag, but its also from the Xudun district of Sool.

I actually dont think its called Jandheer because i have seen that dance at a wedding in Toronto and it involved both men and women but the shit from Erigave has a different name and is done my male only. About dhaanto can you bring a vido of an original dhaanto because the shit i have seen is not good at all. All they do is clap clap and go back and forth.
