I'm sceptical about Banaadir state.. does anyone have any additional updates?

Before thinking about the formation of the Benaadir 'state'; it's useful to learn the history of the region. In the past Banaadir didn't just consist of Muqdiso city but all of Lower Shabelle regions including Marka and Middle Shabelle.

It was only after the coup d'etat that MSB took the opportunity to divide the nation into 18 smaller regions because of clannism and it is due to his actions that we are in the mess we are in today.
