Abgaal live in almost every xaafad and have a good population. They are a majority in most xaafads.

I would say they aren't a majority in Wardhiigleey, Dayniile, Shingaani, and a few others

infact,mogadishu is multi qabiil city and it happens that it is a traditional abgaal degaan,other clans including Murusade,digil,reer xamar,HG,baajuun,xawaadle have a tangable population also.

Ducaysane209, Habargidir have been there just like other clans, pre-1991, but not a lot of them, and most migrated after 1991. Abgaals might be the majority, but other clans have sizeable population as of now, and no clan operates Xamar single-handedly. We each have sections, and we just keep it at that.

Subeir, if they call Xamar their home why would they stop investing in it?

but HG wants peace we support Sharif more than any other Hawiye subclan. The troublemakers today is Al-Shabab and Xisbul Islam (Dahir aweys)

sxb it was just for history facts - i am not sympathetic for dooro kids - and i know xamar was always a hawiye city - but dont you think if you want xamar to come back all peace that all families who fled mogadishu in 1991 should be given back their properties and houses?

Ducaysane209, yes I know I have family from all qabils. Some still live there, especially the females, like my dads Issaq wife and my Darood sister in law. etc Some have left the city due to instability.

Dir, Darood, Rahanweyen, Hawiye, you name it, we checked it. :lol:

Abakar, what is wrong with you? :shock:

He never said they were the majority, but they had a sizeable community there. We should all respect each other.
